About our work

Methodology

What goes into a profile, where each fact comes from, and what we will not claim.

Pricing

We publish prices only when a vendor publishes them or confirms them in writing, and we link the source. Otherwise we describe the pricing model (per document, per page, per seat, per policy) and label the price "quote only."

Security and deployment

SOC 2, HIPAA, and data-residency claims come from vendor trust centers and security documentation. "Unverified" means the vendor does not document it publicly, not that it is absent.

Fit over rank

Insurance AI tools solve different problems for different teams. We group tools by shape (developer infrastructure, enterprise platforms, no-code automation, point solutions) and state who each fits and who should look elsewhere. Where a list is ordered, the order reflects our editorial judgment of fit for the stated use case.

What "tested" means

Where we have used a product on real documents, we say how, with what documents, and when. Where we have not, the profile has a "What we have not verified" section. Vendor-reported accuracy figures are attributed to the vendor.

Freshness

Every profile shows a "last verified" date. Pricing and security are re-checked at least quarterly and whenever a vendor changes its published plans.
